No matter, how many super hits a director give, if he comes up with a single mega flop, he will be put in a danger zone. Srikanth Addala had to face a similar situation after a massive debacle like Brahmothsavam.
He was not heard again in the industry after giving super star, one of the biggest flops of his career. But Geetha Arts who recently brought forward the forgotten director Bommarillu Bhaskar and gave him the opportunity to direct Akhil, has this time brought Addala back to the ground.
Reportedly, the mega banner was impressed with a script narrated by the SVSC director and offered him a chance. Nani was consulted to play the lead in the film, for which the natural star is yet to give his nod. The script is said to be a family entertainer, on the lines of Shathamanam Bhavathi.
Nani is currently busy with ‘V’, in which he is sharing the screen space with Sudheer Babu. Will he ignore a faded out director like Srikanth Addala, or move forward, believing in Geetha Arts is to be known.
