Prabhas will be seen as lord Rama in his upcoming film Adipurush which was officially announced yesterday. The film is based on the victory of good over evil and is an adoption of certain aspects of Ramayan.
T Series who are pooling the funds for this film had announced that a top Bollywood star is playing antagonist in the film.
If the latest Bollywood buzz is anything to go by, Saif Ali Khan will be seen as antagonist Raavan in this film.
Om Raut who worked with Saif in his his debut film Tanhaji was amazed by the latter’s acting prowess and decided to give him the pivotal role in Adipurush. Even Said Ali Khan is said to have liked the plotline and agreed to star in the film. This news will apparently be made official soon.
Adipurush will have a humongous star cast with prominent Bollywood and South Indian actors playing key roles. It will be one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema.
Adipurush will start rolling by the end of 2021 and is scheduled to hit the big screens in 2022.
