It is already known that Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah acted in the remake versions of Bollywood blockbuster, ‘Queen’.
While Tamannaah acted in the Telugu remake, that has been titled ‘That is Mahalakshmi’, Kajal starred in the Tamil version, which is titled ‘Paris Paris’.
The teasers of both these films were released many months ago but there has been no official announcement regarding the release.
Manu Kumaran, who bankrolled the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada remake versions of the film has decided this is the right time to give these films a direct OTT release.
The South Indian remake versions of ‘Queen’ have ensemble star cast and might be receiving a fairly decent proposal from OTT giants like Amazon, and Netflix. So, giving these films a direct OTT release would also help the producer. More details in this regard are yet to be revealed.
While Tamannah, and Kajal acted in the Telugu and Tamil versions respectively, Parul Yadav, and Manjima Mohan acted in the Kannada and Malayalam versions respectively.
