After conducting enough post promotional activities for Maharshi, Super Star Mahesh Babu along with his family is currently enjoying holiday trip in Europe. Meanwhile, the pre-production works for #Mahesh26 have been started. Anil Ravipudi is directing the film and it is going to be an out and out entertainer.
After the constant serious films like Bharat Ane Nenu, Srimanthudu, Maharshi, the Super Star is keen to change the format and do an outright comedy entertainer. Impressed with Anil’s work for F2, Mahesh picked the young director over other star directors like Sukumar, Trivikram etc.
The filmmakers have revealed that the film is going to officially launch on May 31st in Hyderabad through a pooja ceremony. Mahesh Babu, who usually stays away from the launch ceremonies of this kind, is going to continue the trend for this time too.
The official shoot of the film is expected to commence on July 26th and the makers are planning to release the film on Sankranthi 2020.
