YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju seems to be leaving no stone unturned in making sure that he is safe and that he is not misunderstood by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and his favorite leader, Jagan.

After repeatedly being denied a personal audience with the CM, the MP has decided to write a letter detailing all of his actions and words, explaining all of them in detail. Raghurama Krishnam Raju has written a six page letter, explaining to the CM all the horrors he’s facing currently, for expressing his views.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju firstly addressed the show-cause notice sent to him by Vijaya Sai Reddy – a letter he says lacks legal credibility because its letter head reads YSR Congress Party. Explaining about this, Raghurama Krishnam Raju says that the Election Commission of India rejected the party’s many requests for that name, after which the party was registered under the name of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party.

He then addressed the issue regarding the selling of some of TTD’s assets. Raghurama Krishnam Raju said that he opposed that because he was with all the Hindus and did not want to hurt their sentiments. He further explained that this opposition had nothing to do with him being anti-Christian, as some are making it look like.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju then wrote about his statements on opposing English as the medium of instruction in all government schools in Andhra Pradesh. He said that he wasn’t opposing anyone, and that he was simply following articles 350 and 350A, as in the Constitution of India.

Addressing his statements on sand mafia, Raghurama Krishnam Raju said that he spoke about it only after Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development; Mines and Geology, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy gloated about it publicly.

He further went on to address the dinner he arranged in Delhi for all the Members of the Parliament, and not just for BJP members. He said that this was a gesture of goodwill, and that he did not have any other hidden agenda. He also made it clear that his allegiance lies with his party and its leader, and that he has not intentions of leaving the party at any time.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju then addressed his meeting with Lok Sabha speaker, Om Birla, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that he had to meet them to make sure that he was safe, after having received several life threatening phone calls from various local and international numbers. He said that he was simply seeking protection from the Center when the state failed to do so. Raghurama Krishnam Raju also said that when he approached all the police stations in his constituency – after his own constituency’s MLAs burned his effigies and threatened him that he would meet the same fate – no one paid heed to his concerns.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju finally concluded by saying that he will always remain loyal to his party at all costs, and that he never had the intention of opposing the party’s views on anything. He also added that he would be glad to meet with the CM and discuss all of these issues in detail, if given the opportunity.
