Just a couple of days back, we’ve reported that the highly-anticipated film of the TFI – Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab shooting has resumed with limited cast & crew at Annapurna Studios, where a specially erected court set was erected.
We’ve also been informed that the court scenes are going to be the major assets of the film. Well, now our latest reports suggest that the makers of Vakeel Saab took the court set very seriously and they’ve reportedly made the court set as one of the major characters (not as a property) in the film.
We’ve also learned that the makers spent a whopping amount of Rs.3 Crores on the specially-erected court set. Yes, you heard it right. Absolutely three crores.
Well, since the film has no heavy-duty action sequences and songs, it is an advantage for the makers. In fact, the shooting of the female lead (Shruthi Haasan) part is still pending. So, the rest of the filming is expected to be over in quick schedules in the court set.
Directed by MCA fame Venu Sriram, the movie is being produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and Boney Kapoor. Vakeel Saab stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Ananya Nagalla reprising the roles of Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, and Andrea Tariang from the original Hindi film Pink. The film’s music is composed by SS Thaman.
