It is known that the former AP Minister and TDP’s prominent leader Atchannaidu’s arrest has raised the heat in AP politics all of a sudden. The opposition has gone berserk with their statements alleging that this a classic example of the ruling party’s atrocity.
Chandra Babu Naidu said that Atchannaidu has undergone surgery three days ago and has been undergoing the treatment at his home with discharge medications. Babu criticized the ACB officials who knocked on the doors of a people’s leader at midnight and termed this arrest as ‘Kidnap’ as his arrest hasn’t informed his wife and children at that point.
Now, the news is going around in TDP circles that Atchannaidu may use this as the trump card in court to get the bail. In a few minutes, the former minister will be presented before the court and as today is Friday, the TDP MLA needs to stay in custody at least for three days but his surgery cause is good enough to get him an instant bail under these circumstances.
Now, the government, being aware of the possibilities in the court, would definitely tighten the screws so that he couldn’t escape from the custody. Let’s see how it goes.
