The Telangana state has witnessed the highest surge in the COVID-19 cases for the first time. 199 new cases were registered in Telangana yesterday and 122 of them are from the Hyderabad. The exemptions that are given under Lockdown 4.0 and the increase in the number of tests with the orders of the high court are said to be the reasons for this sudden surge.
For the last five days, the rate of COVID-19 spread has been increased and the rate of deaths has also raised substantially. Sunday alone, 5 people died due to Coronavirus and many people are in critical care. From yesterday’s numbers, 196 people belonged to Telangana and the remaining 3 are from different states.
Here is the most astonishing fact regarding this sudden surge of COVID-19. 90% of the people who are reported positive on Sunday didn’t have any COVID-19 symptoms. This very terrifying but of course it is for our own good as these people were tested immediately after the officials found out that these are the contacts to the previously infected persons.
Apart from Hyderabad, 40 cases were registered from Ranga Reddy district and 10 from Medchal. So, it is clear that 90% of the cases registered in Telangana were from only 3 places. So, people who reside in Hyderabad and the Ranga Reddy districts need to be very careful.
