The lifestyle of human beings is changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and in every deed, humans are giving much more importance for their safety when compared to the past. The social distance has become the main objective for the people to survive from this deadly virus.
Now, in the traffic of today’s world, is maintaining physical distance a possible scenario? Till now, people who follow social distance after the exemptions were provided under lockdown 4.0 are very less, and hence, Telangana Police has come up with an advanced technology to overcome this hurdle.
For the first time in the country, the Hyderabad Police have processed deep learning to the citizens with the help of artificial intelligence so that the vehicle which will get stuck in traffic jam follows social distance with the other vehicle. This is first of its kind in the country and the control rooms supervise online the traffic in the densely populated areas.
The Control room makes the most of the CCTV cameras in this technology. First, they issue warning to the vehicles which violate the social distance rules. Later they have designed a protocol for the defaulters under which the local police stations get alerted in the case of traffic jams and immediately they will reach the location and helps the citizens to maintain social distance without any fail. Amazing isn’t it?
