The COVID-19 hasn’t been controlled efficiently in India and for a matter of fact apart from lockdown, there are no extra measures taken by the state governments at all. They are just imposing lockdown but not filtering the positive ones out of the healthy people in sufficient amounts.
Especially in Telangana, the number of tests being conducted per day averages from 150-200. In the last three days, the number of cases reported in Telangana is 7, 2, and 22. On 28th and 29th may, 150 tests and 149 were been conducted respectively by the Telangana government. This is way below par when compared to their neighbourhood states.
In Andhra Pradesh daily 4,000 are being conducted on an average and in Tamilnadu, this number is 3,500. Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Karnataka often reaches 5,000 mark and on average they conduct 3,000 COVID-19 positive tests.
If there won’t be sufficient testing, the infected people may spread the virus at an unbelievable level. On the other side, their health minister Eetela Rajender says there is no need to test many people and the suspects are being tested regularly.
In a state with 1000+ cases and crores of population, only 150 people are the suspects? It is bad to do as many tests as possible?
