Even though the lockdown was extended in India, there has been no change in the number of new cases that were being reported for the last week.
The Police are strictly implementing the restrictions but the infected people somehow manage to spread this Novel Corona Virus to others.
On the other side, the economy gait a brutal hit. Yet the nation and states have adhered themselves to the lockdown protocol for the greater good.
There has been a lot of awareness and listing of precautions given to the people since the first lockdown but no change was visible.
So, a social welfare activist name Kamalakar Shenoi filed a petition in Supreme Court that the Lockdown restriction needs to be more stringent and strengthened. He even said that many medical professionals and the police are being attacked by the public.
He even mentioned that bringing the Indian army personnel down to streets is the only option for the successful implementation of the lockdown.
Today, there will be a hearing on his petition and if the supreme court agrees with Kamalakar’s point, we can witness the presence of the army on our streets.
