A person who has contacted with an Indonesian group was tested positive for Coronavirus on Sunday. This person belongs to Karimnagar and it happens to be the first case in the District. This information was announced by the District Collector of Karimnagar. Already the Indonesian group was sent to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
This group has visited Karimnagar from Indonesia as promoters of Christianity. The latest person who was tested positive has spent some considerable amount of time with the group and was tested positive yesterday. Therefore he too was sent to Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad for further treatment.
More alarming information about this is that this Indonesian group has met with almost 500 other people during their visit.
All these 500 people were identified and were asked to be in isolation for the next few weeks. With Telangana reporting almost 27th Coronavirus case, this does not look very encouraging as of now.
