A Cabinet level meeting is going on with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy chairing the meet. Key discussions are being held in bringing about changes in Panchayati Raj system. On the occasion of Local Body Elections in line, there are high possibilities that important orders will soon be out.
One of them could be that if anybody is caught distributing alcohol during the Election campaigns, that candidate should be declared ineligible for contesting the Elections. Cabinet even feels that the amount of campaigning also needs to be cut down if necessary.
When it comes to wooing the voters, Jagan will be distributing School Bags to every student from 1st standard to 10th standard in all AP Government Schools. Also, 3 pairs of School Uniforms, 2 pairs of Schools and notebooks will be supplied for every student.
Rest key issues will be, Red Sandal smuggling cases, CPS demolition protest cases will be taken up in the discussion. Also, AP State Agricultural Council creation will be approved. Additionally, AP Green Energy Corporation Bill on creating the Plant and producing 10,000 mega watts will be considered.
