Everyone thought that Chandrababu has lost his mind after the humiliating defeat in the general assembly elections. He took some worst decisions regarding his deteriorating party and was criticized by many people. But his amazing display of experience and expertise in halting the decentralization bill raised some new hopes in the TDP party circles and supporters.
Now, Naidu’s situation is quite complicated in his own party. Many of the MLCs feel that CBN does no good for the party. Even Naidu gained upper hand in the council, it is definitely not a long term solution as the bill will pass in 3 months. As a bonus to his spectacular effort, Jagan dissolves the council so that all the TDP MLCs would lose their only notable posts in the state.
When this situation was brought before the Chandrababu, everyone was hoping for a valuable solution from their Chief. But, what Naidu said is unimaginable. He asked the MLCs to make some sacrifices for the Telugu people. He even said that all their names will be written in history (but for no good). But MLCs certainly know their fate after losing their posts.
So instead of suggesting an alternative, Naidu simply gave up on their posts in the name of sacrifice. It seems like CBN hasn’t learned any lessons from his past.
