CID officials have registered cases regarding insider trading. The land illegally purchased in the Amaravati region, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. In this context, cases filed against Belmkonda Narasimha, former sarpanch of local TDP leader Venkatapalem with former ministers Ponguru Narayan and Pattipati Pullarao.
SP of the CID department in Andhra Pradesh, Mary Prasanti, said that cases registered under section 420, 506,120 (B) on the complaint of a woman named Poturaju Bujji of Venkatapalem.
Superintendent of Police Prashanti said that 99 cents of land purchased in Venkatapalem by luring the Dalit woman. He said that similarly, 131 white ration cardholders in 129 acres of land in Amravati, 43 white ration card holders in Peddakakani, and 40 acres and 188 white ration card holders registered 120 areas in Tadikonda.
The SP said that 148 white ration cardholders for 133 acres of land in Tulluru, 148 for 133 acres of land in Mangalagiri and 49 white ration cards for 24 acres of land in Tadepalli. SP Mary Prasanti said that the investigation into the insider trading case expedited.
