Amidst the tension situation, Amaravathi farmers managed to cross the Police forces and moved towards the secretariat. As per the latest update, the farmers surrounded the secretariat from all the directions and started giving slogans against YS Jagan.
Women too opposed YS Jagan’s rule and decision on the capital city. Police officials tried hard to control the situation but they were not able to stop the angry mob. Lathi charge took place and few women were severely injured.
On the other hand, Nara Lokesh took charge on YS Jagan saying that TDP has decentralized the development by developing fisheries in East and West Godavari, Kia Motors in Anantapur, mobile manufacturing hub in Tirupathi and IT zone in Vizag. Nara Lokesh finalized that the division of capital city won’t help the future of the people in the state. Meanwhile, YSRC leaders started announcing their plans of development in various regions after their initial survey.
