The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has received about 182 crores as donations from individuals and firms, including 141 crores through electoral bonds, which is the highest amount received by political parties in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
While YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Received 55 percent of its wealth through electoral bonds, the TRS party received 78 percent of its funds from electoral bonds.
According to the annual audited accounts and annual reports of contributions to the party for the year 2018-19, the previous the direct contribution to the party in the financial year was 24 crores and 16.50 crores through the discretionary electoral trust.
In an audit report submitted to the Election Commission of India (ECI), the prudential electoral trust paid more to the neighboring state’s parties – 27 crores to YSRCP and TDP 25 crores and TRS 16 crores.
The Pink Party received over one crore rupees in direct donations from nine people. Three crores from one GV Bhaskar Rao, resident of Tadbund, two crores from M / s Raghav Constructions, M / s Venkateswara Enterprises, and Gland Cellus Bio-Chemicals Private Limited. One crore, each from Messrs Arook Space Technologies Private Limited, Hotel Park Continental, Ministers Chamkura Malla Reddy, questioned Saroja Vivekananda.
