Bollywood’s actress Kangana Ranaut had earlier announced that she would star in a prestigious biopic which is to portray the life story of late actress-turned-politician Jalayalitha. It is even reported that Kangana had agreed to act in this biopic of Jayalalitha for a huge amount of 24 Crores.
The biopic is to star Kangana who is to reprise Jayalalitha. This biopic is to be a bilingual movie which is to be titled as ‘Thalaivi’ in Tamil. The story for this biopic is being penned down by Vijayendra Prasad. Jayalalitha was one of the most powerful lady politicians who brought a huge change in the history of South India. Jayalalitha is still celebrated as one of the most powerful leaders of Tamil Nadu.
The sources confirm that Kangana is all set to learn Tamil for this role. “Kangana is learning Tamil with much interest. It is an alien language to her. It has been a little hard for her to catch the pronunciation and the accent. But, she is keen on dubbing for herself”, one of the close sources reported.
Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh are the producers of this biopic. It has been reported that the biopic is all set to get on the floors soon. More details awaited.
