After the critically acclaimed Awe released, Prashant Verma directed Kali which became a disaster at the box office. He had narrated a story to Akhil Akkineni and heard he reportedly like it.
Since Bommarillu Bhaskar is taking time to wrap it up, Prashant Verma has meanwhile decided to direct another film in this gap. He will be producing and also directing it and it is not a sequel to Awe as being reported.
This film is heroine centric and will have Teja Sajja of Oh Baby as the hero. Teja is a child artiste annd he played Rao Ramesh’s son in Oh Baby. Prasant Verma will begin the film in the last week of January and will release it by summer before Akhil winds up his work. Currenty a hunt for a heroine is on.
