Iran and India have been together in business for long time. The same is the case with India and USA. Considering this aspect, Iranian officials were seeking India’s intervention to settle the dispute with USA.
It is known that when there is dispute between India – Pakistan or India – China, USA used to offer mediation services. Looks like the time has come where India takes the lead of prevailing peace in the world.
Ali Chegeni, Iranian ambassador to India mentioned that Iran will welcome any peace related project or talk from India. Situation for Iran turned worse after they fired couple of missiles on the US bases. Even though Iran doesn’t have much long range missiles that can hit USA, the country is considered to be the most powerful one in the Middle East, as per USA’s defense report.
If we keep the war aside, this conflict may impact the sea route which majority of the Middle East countries use to trade oil. This may raise the oil prices all over the world.
