Rakshasudu producer Koneru Satyanarayana is producing Pelli Chupulu in Tamil. Fifty percent of the film shoot is done in Chennai. Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar are the lead artistes.
Harish Kalyan is the same artiste who acted as Nani’s son ..grown up guy in Jersey. He is also doing a remake of Vicky Donor. Looks like it is the time of remakes. Pelli Chupulu has Vijay Devarakonda becominga star with its success and Ritu Verma hasn’t tasted much success.
After the release she left for Chennai and did a few films there but nothing outstanding. She has returned recently and signed some good projects and hopefully it should click.
Even Ninnu Kori, a hit film in Telugu is being remade in Tamil with Anupama Parameswaran and Atharva. A studios next is with Ravi Teja. They have already given him an advance.
