Finally, the big day has arrived. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to give a clarity on Capital cities today.
The CM will participate in a special cabinet meeting and discuss about the GN Rao Committee. As per the suggestions given by the ministers and others, Jagan will then announce his final decision on the Capital cities.
Meanwhile, Amaravati farmers who have been holding strike for the past 9 days is continuing it even today. Not only farmers, but several others have planned to protest in Velagapudi, Krishnayapalem, Uddhandaraayuni Paalem today. Jagan is also expected to take a decision to please all the farmers owing to the severe protests in Amaravati.

Meanwhile, AP police imposed severe restrictions in Amaravati. All the roads leading to AP Secretariat have been blocked as the cabinet meeting is set to take place today. 144 section has been imposed in Thulluru and AP police is making sure that no disturbances take place in Amaravati during the cabinet meeting.
