Ever since it was announced, we are all awaiting for the release of the real-life uncle and nephew’s multi-starrer Venky Mama.
The film’s release date has been delaying for many times due to unknown reasons. Makers initially planned to release the film on December 13th on the eve of Venkatesh’s birthday.
But, postponed the film due to unfamiliar reasons. Later there are many speculations that the film’s producer Suresh Babu is making plans to release the film during Sankranthi season to cash in the festive season. But, there is no official update.
However, a source close to the production house revealed to us the delay behind the film’s release. Going into the details, when Suresh Babu was out of the city, touring on a pilgrimage for a few days and around that time, the team spent a lot, which increased the budget.
The source further revealed to us that Suresh gave left and right to the team for going over the budget Rs. 50 crores (Which is very high), without even counting publicity and post-production charges.
As for the release date, the source added that Suresh Babu is planning to release the film either in the first week of December or on December 25. The producer is now looking for the available dates and most probably the film will release during the Christmas holidays.
As per the updates, the film completed the last day of the shoot along with the patchwork on November 2nd. The post-production work is in full swing.
