The film is being directed by Prem Kumar, who also directed the original. Recently, Samantha announced that she has wrapped up her shoot part. It seems the film may have already completed the shooting part and is ready for release.
However, the film’s producer Dil Raju is maintaining silence on this film as he is not announcing any update about the film. He has not even announced the movie’s name. So, it looks like Dil Raju is not in plans to release during Christmas or Pongal.
If Dil Raju wants to release the movie in December, he may have been released the film’s songs by now. Or has he moved 96 remake movie to the next year after Pongal?
