But Karthi, who has a star-hero image in Tamil and Telugu, has titled his next film Khaidi. The film is slated to release on October 25 as a Diwali gift. It is heard that to justify the title, Karthi will be seen as a prisoner who has been jailed for 10 years.
In a recent media interaction, when a reporter asked Karthi what aspects would you choose for the story, Karthi replied, “Once I asked a rickshawala person, which kind of film do you like the most. He replied, do the films that you like most. Listen to your heart. If you like it, we also like your movies. Since then I have been following the same idea.
There is no female lead in the film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Khaidi is a complete emotional and action thriller.
