Bhuma family of Kurnool district faced lot of problems in the last 5 years. Soon after Bhuma Sobha Nagireddy’s death due to car accident, the family lost another pillar Bhuma Nagireddy in 2017 due to heart attack. Bhuma Akhila Priya came into politics post her mother’s death and took her position. In 2019 elections, Bhuma Akhila Priya from TDP lost against Gangula Brijendranath Reddy (Nani) from YSRC.
Akhila Priya has been married to an industrialist Bhargav Ram. Recently couple of Police cases have been filed on Bhargav Ram for threatening Sivarami Reddy who has 60% share in Srilakshmi Industries. 40% share of that company was owned by Bhuma Akhila Priya. It seems that Bhargav Ram threatened him to sell the 60% of his share to them.
Taking these cases into consideration, Police officials were searching for Bhargav Ram and it seems that SI Ramesh spotted him in Hyderabad and tried to stop his car. Instead of stopping the car, Bhargav Ram escaped from the spot. On this, Police officials filed 2 more cases under section 353 and 336.
