In a shocking incident, Virat Kohli lost Rs 1 crore from his match fee following the verbal brawl he had with Gautam Gambhir and Naveen Ul Haq in yesterday’s game between RCB and Lucknow.
Virat was involved in a verbal altercation with the Lucknow players and staff in last night’s game. This led to a huge controversy and Virat’s conduct was criticized for the same.
Now, the latest update is that Virat lost 100% of his match fee for this verbal brawl that happened last night. Meaning, he lost all Rs 1.07 crore of his match fee.
Gambir also lost 100% of his match fee, meaning he ended up losing Rs 25 lakh. He too was reprimanded by the IPL disciplinary committee.
Naveen Ul Haq was fined Rs 1.79 lakh which is 50% of his match fee. A further investigation hasn’t been instigated yet though.
