SS Rajamouli does it again! The Indian pride has made to the list of Times 100 most influential people in the world. This star director became a sensation internationally after the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from his movie ‘RRR’ went on to win the most prestigious Oscar award. He is the first ever Indian filmmaker to make into the list.
In a special note by Alia Bhat to the Times magazine, she quoted that working in his movie is like going to school again. She also said that Rajamouli knows the audience he is serving and called him a master storyteller. She added, “India is a massive country with diverse demographics, tastes, and culture. But he gets that—and he unites us through his movies.”
Apart from SS Rajamouli, King Khan Shah Rukh managed to get in this list from film fraternity.
On the work front, Rajamouli is working for a forest adventure flick with Super Star Mahesh. The movie is in pre production stage. It is said to be the most expensive film of Indian cinema.
