Akhil Akkineni is pinning all his hopes on his next film, Agent which is the costliest project in his career and also the biggest commercial project in his career thus far.
As per the latest reports, the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Agent are acquired by Sony Liv.
This is also the biggest acquisition of Sony Liv in Telugu cinema till now and they are looking to expand their footprint in the Telugu OTT market with this biggie.
Agent has Akhil in the lead role and is directed by Surender Reddy. The film is being mounted on a huge budget.
The makers are said to have recovered a chunk of the budget through the OTT deal with Sony Liv and they couldn’t have been happier.
Agent is up for release on the 28th of April. The film has Mohanlal in the other important role and it is funded by AK Entertainments.
