Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, is currently on his Yuva Galam padayatra. He is currently touring the district of Chittoor, and has been walking in the Sri Kalahasti constituency continuously. The political leader is being followed by at least 30 Police vehicles, in which there are twenty SIs, ten CIs, six DSPs and many constables. This is so that they can ensure that the GO No. 1 is being followed by Lokesh throughout his yatra.
The TDP members are saying that the government is preventing Lokesh from interacting with the people of the state on the name of the GO No. 1. They are saying that they are not letting Lokesh address the people of even a small village with a mic, and are even taking away the stool on which he is standing, so that he wouldn’t get a chance to talk to the people of the area.
Lokesh was even reportedly stopped from getting a darshan at the famous Sri Kalahasti temple today. On the other hand, the police are refusing to give permission for Chandarababu’s roadshow in Anaparthi, citing the GO No.1.
