YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case continues to be investigated and looked into by the CBI. The Supreme Court ordered the Telangana High Court to take care of the case. All petitions are thus being filed in the Telangana High Court. Recently, Sunil Yadav, one of the accused, applied for bail in the Telangana HC. Viveka’s wife, Sowbhagyamma, filed an implead petition following that, requesting the court to not accept the petition and to refuse bail to the accused.
In her petition, she stated that there’s a chance that Sunil would influence anyone else key to the case and change their statements or manipulate proofs to suit him. Sunil Yadav, along with other accused, Umashankar and Devireddy Sivashankar are in the Chanchalguda Central jail in Hyderabad. While the prime accused, Erra Gangi Reddy is on bail, another accused Dastagiri turned approver in the case.
The next hearing of the case has been posted to February 27th. YS Viveka was murdered on March 1,5 2019,a nd justice is yet to be served.
