Tarakaratna was rushed to a hospital in Kuppam yesterday after he suffered a heart stroke. At first, it was believed that he had a mild heart stroke but it was later identified that he had a really bad stroke. The left part of his heart is 90% blocked.
A special medical team from Bengaluru was bought in to treat him at the Kuppam hospital and special life-saving measures were taken. After a fair bit of calculation, the medical team finally decided that he can be taken to Bengaluru hospital.
Tarakaratna was then shifted to PES Hospital in Bengaluru shortly after where he is currently being treated.
His condition remains to be critical and an official medical bulletin is expected to be out soon.
