Thota Chandrasekhar is a retired IAS officer and a kapu leader, who was previously a part of the Jana Sena. He recently walked out of the Jana Sena and joined the BRS, where he was made the president of the AP BRS wing. This came as a major shock for all politicians as Thota ditched Jana Sena for a part that doesn’t yet hold any promise at all.
Now, BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao is alleging that the reason Thota decided to join the BRS is because KCR lured him into the party in exchange for benefits worth Rs. 4000 Crores. he said that the KCR government allowed for the sale of a 40 acres land in Hazeefpet, under Survey No. 78, which is a property of the government. This land is said to be worth Rs. 4000 Crores, which has been given to Thota.
Rao also said that the expenses for the maiden formation day celebrations of the BRS, which are going to be held in Khammam tomorrow, are all being paid for by Thota himself. For this meeting, KCR has set a target of 5 lakh people audience.
