One of the highly anticipated movies in Tollywood currently is Shaaakuntalam, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. The shooting for the film wrapped up a long time ago, but the release date of the film hasn’t been announced yet, as the post-production works for the movie are still going on. The movie is about Shakuntala, played by Samantha, and how she loses her husband and then regains him. It’s an epic love story, which requires huge VFX.
Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is making his Telugu debut with the film. He will be seen as King Dushyant, Shakuntala’s husband, in the movie. On the occasion of the actor’s birthday today, the first look of Dev Mohan as King Dushyant from the movie has been released today, by the movie’s team.
In the first look, we see Dev Mohan on a horse, looking ahead of him, looking heroic and valiant, in the forest. It is to be noted that King Dushyant comes across Shakuntala during one of his forest escapades, so this scene could be leading to his meeting with his future wife. All in all, the movie looks promising, and it is to be seen how the end product will turn out to be.
