YS Sharmila, the daughter of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and the current Chief Minister of AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, started her own party in Telangana last year, the YSR Telangana Party, and has been actively participating in various events in the state since then. She is currently on a state-wide padayatra, which she began a whole ago, where she is interacting with the people of the state and trying to help them out.
Sharmila recently held a press meet, in which she said that her father was murdered by conspirators, and that the same people are now trying to murder her as well. She said that she’s the daughter of YSR, and that she is not scared of anyone or anything. She challenged these people to arrest her if they can, based on the several cases and petitions filed against her.
Sharmila even put up a pair of cuffs, saying that she’s not afraid of those cuffs, and that she’s not going to run away anywhere. She said that she would be with the people, helping them out, till her last breath, and no one can ever change that.
