The film is written by Anudeep KV, who wrote and directed the blockbuster film Jaatiratnalu. The film is directed by Vamshidhar Goud and Lakshminarayana Puttachetty.

Chiru made an interesting comment regarding Anudeep’s film Jaatiratnalu, with respect to the Chitti song. He said that his wife’s nickname is Chitti, as that’s how he calls her, and that’s how she was addressed by Edida Nageswara Rao’s family.

At the pre-release event, Chiranjeevi talking about his association with Poornadaya Pictures, and its founder, the late Edida Nageswara Rao, and how it’s a privilege and honor to be a part of the event after being associated with the banner for decades together, so much so that they are all one family.

Chiranjeevi Shares First Day First Show Experience For The First Time

He said that every actress who comes to work in the Telugu industry from other states always has good things to say about the way the industry treats women – with respect. Chiru went on to say that this is why he never discouraged his daughter Sushmita, and his brother Nagababu’s daughter Niharika, from entering the industry, because the industry is a safe space for women, where they can thrive.

The actor then wished all the best to the team of FDFS, and said that more and more such promising new talent should come to the industry, which is when things will change and become better. Chiru then went on to talk about this first day first show experience, and spoke about the film Ramu, produced under the AVM Studios banner, which features the legendary NT Ramarao in the lead role.

He said how he, his brother Nagababu and their friend went to a theatre in Nellore to watch the film on the first day, and were part of a humungous crowd where getting a ticket was almost impossible. He said that they were all subjected to huge suffocation because of the crowd, but that his brother suffocated the most, and that despite all of it, they managed to get the tickets for the movie in the ground section (nela).

Chiranjeevi said that they interestingly came across his father while they were on their way into the movie hall. He said that his father was furious at them, especially after seeing Nagababu’s condition, and explained how this incident resulted in Chiru being hit by his father all the way home, which still sends shivers down his spine. Recalling the incident, Chiru said that while it was a scary incident back then, it now brings a wide smile and fond memories back to him, for which he is grateful.
