When it came to light that Union Home Minsiter, and a key player of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Amit Shah, would be meeting NTR for lunch in Hyderabad today, it was the only thing that anyone seemingly spoke about, as it is such a rarity for any high profile politician to meet with an actor.
It was said that the main reason for Amit Shah’s meeting with NTR was the actor’s performance in RRR, which the union minister is said to have loved very much.
On the other hand, there were several speculations that there was a hidden political agenda behind this meeting, which could be related to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, as the BJP is trying to get a stronghold in the two Telugu states.
Amit Shah met with NTR at Novotel near the airport in Shamshabad, and the two are said to have had a wonderful conversation. What they spoke about still remains a mystery, though.
After the meeting, Amit Shah took to Twitter and posted pictures of him with NTR, and even said that it was a pleasure meeting with someone as talented as NTR, who is an asset to the Telugu film industry. Interestingly, the politician even conveyed the same in Telugu as well, on Twitter.
