YS Vijayamma, the mother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, narrowly escaped a major road accident in Kurnool.
As per reports, Vijayamma went to visit the family of Ayyappa Reddy, who was very close to the late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy in the Kurnool district. While returning, the car she was travelling in met with an accident. It seems that the tires of the car exploded while the car was speeding. However, the driver skillfully avoided the damage by controlling the car carefully, even at that speed. With that, a great danger was averted.
It is said that no one in the car was injured due to seat belts and airbags. Vijayamma left the place in another car.
Recently, Vijayamma resigned from the post of Honorary President of the YSR Congress Party.
