The pre-release event of Kalyan Ram’s upcoming film, Bimbisara, took place today, for which NTR was the chief guest. Mallidi Vasisht is making his directorial debut with this film, in which Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon are the leading ladies. The film is all set to be released on August 5th, and is carrying a very good buzz around it.

The pre-release event was, for sure, a very grandiose event, unlike any other pre-release even that took place in recent times. The entire hall was packed with Nandamuri fans, who were euphoric, to say the least. Nandamuri brothers, Kalyan Ram and NTR, stole the show, as usual, and fans were ecstatic to see them together and to listen to NTR speak, who has made his first major public appearance after the release of RRR.

Talking about the film, Kalyan Ram said that he wouldn’t be disappointing his fans and Nandamuri fans this time and that he would definitely be scoring a big hit with Bimbisara. He said that he is dedicating the film to his grandfather NTR, who was the one to pour life into socio-fantasy films and folklore films in the industry for the very first time. He said that he’s proud to be a part of Bimbisara and thanked everyone who worked for the film, for being a part of the film, and for putting their everything into the film to make it the best it can be. He said that Keeravani is the backbone of the film, making every frame come to life with his background score.

NTR’s speech made the crowds erupt into a state of hysteria. The actor said that he has had the pleasure of watching the film already and said that Kalyan Ram’s career would be defined here on as before Bimbisara and after Bimbisara. He said that everyone can see the kind of hard work that Kalyan Ram has put into the film, in terms of his acting skills and everything else, and also said that no one else other than Kalyan Ram could have been Bimbisara. Speaking about the director, NTR said that he was initially skeptical about whether or not Vasisht would be able to pull off a film on a scale such as this, as the movie would be his debut, but said that the director has turned the film into a better than his narration, and into the best ever, making it just the trailer of the kind of films he would be making in the future.

Echoing Kalyan Ram’s words, NTR said that Keeravani is indeed the backbone of the film, as he made every scene goosebumps inducing with his background score. NTR said that Kalyan Ram would make every Nandamuri fan and every audience all the more proud, more than ever, with Bimbisara. He said that while everyone is being skeptical about movies in the current scenario, he believes that audiences are always ready to accept a good film, and said that he hopes that they all accept and love Bimbisara, which is all set to be released on August 5th.
