Chennai Super Kings (CSK), led by skipper Ravindra Jadeja, didn’t get a flying start in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League.
Now, the team has suffered a massive setback after pacer Deepak Chahar was ruled out of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to a back injury.
For the unversed, the youngster was signed by CSK for Rs 14 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction. As per reports, Chahar was expected to join the squad by the second week of April, but the seriousness of the injury has ruled him out of the entire tournament. Well, the fast bowler’s exit from the tournament is surely a big blow to the team as he is a consistent player providing a decent bowling attack over the years.
Meanwhile, CSK has lost all their four matches so far in the 10-team competition.
