It is known that young actor Nikhil has joined hands with director Chandoo Mondeti for the second instalment of the Karthikeya franchise.
The other day, the makers took to Twitter and announced the much-awaited release date. Shared a new poster, the team revealed that Karthikeya 2 will release in theatres on July 22. The poster features Nikhil standing on a majestic hilltop with a cross bag on his shoulder.
Karthikeya 2 is said to be a mythological thriller with some incidents dating back 5000 years. Nikhil will be playing the role of a doctor while Anupama will be seen as his love interest. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is playing a key role in the movie.
Karthikeya 2 is being produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under their banners of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts respectively. Kaala Bhairava has scored the music while the cinematography is handled by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The movie will release in Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
