The Rahul Sankrityan directorial has entered the Netflix top 10 list globally, under the non-English films category. The period romantic drama film, which has recorded 3,59,000 viewing hours on the platform, has joined the list of Global Top 10 list, a weekly list of the top 10 most-watched non-English movies and shows in the world.
The Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer features third on the list for the week (Jan 17th to 23rd). Interestingly, this also confirms that Shyam Singha Roy has now earned the ‘OTT blockbuster’ status. The film also features Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian in other lead roles. Shyam Singha Roy was theatrically released on 24 December 2021.
