Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda proved to be a box office blockbuster. The film is now going on a rampage on OTT as well.
As per reports, Akhanda clocked a total of over 1 million individual streams after it premiered on Disney Hotstar at 6 PM yesterday.
Akhanda now holds the record for the highest number of streams registered by a Telugu film on OTT in a single day. The film has now emerged as a blockbuster on OTT as well.
Balakrishna and Boyapati mark mass feast appears to have struck a chord with the OTT audience and that is very much evident now.
Akhanda is a heavy duty action drama directed by Boyapati Sreenu. Disney Hotstar shelled out big bucks for the post theatrical rights of the film and they appear to be getting their money’s worth now.
