Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Tadepalli camp office this noon.
The star actor will meet the Chief Minister for lunch today to discuss the issues related to the Telugu film industry. Chiru sought the appointment of Mr Reddy last year, but the meeting got suspended. Now, he got a call from the CMO for a meeting.
Needless to say, Tollywood has suffered a big blow after the Jagan government reduced the movie ticket prices. A committee of filmmakers had already held talks with the AP government and is hoping for a positive response from the state. In this regard, Chiranjeevi’s meeting with CM Jagan has aroused extensive interest.
During the meeting, it is expected that Chiru will explain to the CM how the government’s move pushed the industry into a dilemma. However, it remains to be seen whether Chiranjeevi’s meeting with Jagan would bring some relief to the industry.
