The disciplinary committee of the TPCC seems to be lacking discipline within itself, which the recent developments within the party and the way its members are behaving, being the best example. The disciplinary committee seems to be highly divided right now, with one side of the committee working against the other.
Recently, TPCC working president Turpu Jagga Reddy wrote a letter to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi, complaining against TPCC chief Revanth Reddy’s ways. This letter became public, causing a huge uproar within the party, and the TPCC disciplinary committee has taken a serious view of it. The committee’s chief and former minister, G Chinna Reddy announced that Jaggareddy would be called before the disciplinary committee to explain the leakage of the letter. While Chinna Reddy’s comments are commendable, many are questioning why he violated the party’s code of conduct, by making the details public knowledge.
Jagga Reddy said that Revanth Reddy made Jagga Reddy do this, as both of them are close. Other Revanth detractors are of the opinion that Revanth is causing such polarizing situations in the party, as the disciplinary committer was truly neutral during the tenure of Kodanda Reddy and Marri Sasidhar Reddy. It is now to be seen what will happen here on.
