Ace filmmakers SS Rajamouli is the most sought after film director in Indian cinema now. He is awaiting the release of RRR which is expected to set the box office on fire as it hits the silver screens on 7th January.
Now, Rajamouli has featured in TimeOut magazine’s “The 50 coolest filmmakers in the world” list.
Rajamouli is ranked 25th on the list and he is the only Indian filmmaker to bag a spot in the same.
“A box-office-monstering reminder that Bollywood represents only a fraction of what Indian cinema has to offer, Telugu language epic Baahubali earned SS Rajamouli more than a billion – billion – fans worldwide,” the magazine wrote as they validated Rajamouli’s inclusion in the list.
As for RRR, the action epic featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan is the most anticipated Indian film.
