Earlier, there were reports that popular director Maruthi was planning to make a movie with Megastar Chiranjeevi. It is heard that Chiru was impressed with the narration and he asked the director to come back with a full bounded script. Reports suggested that the film will be produced by UV Creations and Geetha Arts jointly.
The latest buzz is that Maruthi’s film with the Khaidi No. 150 actor has been shelved. Chiranjeevi has cancelled this film, and the reason behind the cancellation is not yet known.
Maruthi has previously worked with big stars like Venkatesh Daggubati in a movie titled ‘Babu Bangaram.’ Though the film garnered average talk, his other films with Nani and Sudheer Babu were superhits at the box office.
On the professional front, Maruthi is working on Pakka Commercial, starring Gopichand and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is packed with a busy lineup. He has movies with directors: Meher Ramesh, Mohan Raja, Bobby and Venky Kudumula. His upcoming film Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, is gearing up to hit the screens on February 4 next year.
