Addressing a gathering during the inauguration of Yoda Lifeline Diagnostics in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu praised Megastar Chiranjeevi and said the latter is the third eye of the Telugu film industry.
“Chiranjeevi is the third eye of Telugu film industry. The first and second were Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Chiranjeevi will be remembered for 10 more decades and many more generations,” Venkaiah Naidu said.
Chiranjeevi, who also attended the event, praised Venkaiah for his contribution to society and prayed to Lord Ayyappa that the latter becomes the President of India.
“Telugu people have got recognition in the world through Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Now Venkaiah Naidu stands as a definite example of Telugu pride. I am not the only one who wants him to be President of India. It’s the wish of all Telugu people,” Chiru said.
It is learned that Ram Nath Kovind became the first Indian citizen in 2017. However, with Mr Kovind’s term as President coming to an end next year, Chiranjeevi’s latest comments about Venkaiah Naidu are grabbing everyone’s attention.
