After a very long career on the small screen, popular TV anchor Suma Kanakala is all set to make her comeback into films with a full-length role.
Suma is playing the titular role in an upcoming movie ‘Jayamma Panchayathi’. The makers unveiled the first-look glimpse recently and the ace anchor is seen as a fiery homemaker, who likes to solve the problems of her villagers.
Having made her acting debut way back in 1996 in ‘Kalyana Prapthirasthu’, Suma has not concentrated on films, but she focused on television, which surely made her the biggest presenter in the Telugu film industry. After making some minor roles in films, the actress seems to be decided to continue full-length roles and Jayamma Panchayathi is one such attempt from her.
Directed by Vijay Kumar, the movie has music composed by MM Keeravani. Balaga Prakash is producing Jayamma Panchayathi.
