Telangana Jagruthi’s Bathukamma Song ‘Allipoola Vennela’ was launched by TRS MLC K Kavita. The song, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, is composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman.
Uthara Unnikrishnan crooned the song while it was choreographed by National Award winner Brinda. The song has lyrics by Mittapalli Surender. The song was shot in different districts across Telangana. Notably, Allipoola Vennela was produced by Kavita’s organisation, Telangana Jagruthi.
The song was released Tuesday ahead of the first day of the Bathukamma festival. After launching the song, Kavitha tweeted, “The festival of colours, melody and togetherness Bathukamma is here! Here’s sharing a glimpse of the special song for Bathukamma by @arrahman@menongautham and a dream team for all my sisters.”
